Karakurt's impressive 2.7 average secured him a well-deserved victory. However, it was Gökhan Salman who truly stole the show, delivering an extraordinary performance. However, one of the most contentious aspects of billiards is the decision-making process surrounding whether a shot is counted as a point or not. This particular aspect sets 3 Cushion Billiard apart from other sports. In this unique scenario, the players' opinions hold more weight than the referee's judgment. For instance, if the referee deems a shot as a point, but both players disagree, the point is not accepted. From my perspective, this rule can be seen as problematic, as it diminishes the confidence and authority of the referee.
