On October 19, 2024, Night Cafe and Mywebsport (www.mywebsport.com) joined forces to organize the  "Green Cities Billiard Tour," an innovative tournament aimed at promoting eco-friendly sports events. What made this event truly special was that it brought together 4 different billiard clubs from 3 different countries—all connected online, thanks to Mywebsport’s advanced technology. Yes, you read that right: online billiard play is now possible!

Reducing CO2, One Game at a Time

The primary objective of the Green Cities Billiard Tour was to reduce CO2 emissions by eliminating the need for travel, allowing players to compete from their local clubs. By leveraging Mywebsport's online connectivity, players could participate in matches against each other from anywhere in the world, promoting a more sustainable way to enjoy billiards.

A Thrilling Tournament with a Stellar Line-up

The quarterfinals were the highlight of the tournament, showcasing the full potential of Mywebsport’s online platform. Competing from their respective clubs, players delivered impressive performances, all while reducing their carbon footprints.

A thrilling day of cue action unfolded at BSC Karlsruhe on March 23rd, as ten talented players took to the felt in a gripping Night Cafe 3-cushion tournament. Divided into two groups of five, the competition was fierce, the shots were sublime, and the atmosphere was super! 🏅 1st Place: Ismail Inal   🎖️ 2nd Place: Cetin Duran   🥉 3rd Place: Klaus Keßler   🎗️ 4th Place: Cemal Cay   Ismail Inal set the pace early in the group phase, boasting an impressive average of 1.47 , showcasing his mastery over the table. However, it was Klaus Keßler who ultimately clinched the  half final best average with an astounding 1.36 . Special mention must go to Cemal Cay, whose remarkable performance earned him a spot in the finals in his very first appearance—a true testament to his skill and determination.
